Maestra's Memo: This version of War, will help children to recognize & compare number values. The cards are color coded (blue=big & brown=small) to help even the youngest pearners to compare values. For added fun, talk about the different animals on the cards to develop working vocabulary. Try using the following phrase with your child to help them talk about math comparisons: "I have ____ (say number). You have ____ (say number.) ____ is greater than ____. You win! ____ is less than ___. You lose."
