America the Beautiful (Ages 4-15 years) ... Duration & Focus: Four weeks of exploring the land, people, regions, landmarks and unique features of the United States of America
--- Skills include: map reading; cardinal directions; physical & cultural geography; identifying the 50 U.S. States (actually, 48 "states," 2 commonwealths, & several territories); landmarks & landscapes; national parks & monuments; regional characteristics; famous people, remarkable features, fun facts & other tidbits of information about this dynamic country!
--- Participation Package includes four hours of interactive, small group online sessions (one live session each week); several age-appropriate activity books, craft kits, visual prompts & engaging props to promote learning about the USA; selected readings, flash cards, visual aids, maps, printed materials & learning resources which are accessible via internet and/or shipped directly to your home!
